Mr. Chumo is an experienced farmer and businessman who has made significant progress in the agricultural sector. With over 40 years of experience in dairy farming, commercial maize, and wheat production, he has established himself as one of the top large-scale farmers in Uasin Gishu County's Kesses Division. Mr. Chumo's partnership with the Agricultural Finance Corporation (AFC) since 1996 has played a crucial role in his success. AFC has provided him with various types of loans, including seasonal loans, land purchase loans, machinery loans, and dairy loans. These financial resources have supported his farming activities and facilitated his growth from a small-scale farmer to a successful large-scale farmer. In addition to his farming ventures, Mr. Chumo also operates a company called "Maraba Investments" alongside his wife. Maraba Investments focuses on agro-chemicals and farm inputs, indicating Mr. Chumo's diversified involvement in the agricultural sector.
