Agricultural Finance Corporation Financed Mr.Patrick W Njoroge with 50 Million to undertake intensive Modern livestock farming. The project is located in a 2 acre farm in Makuyu, Kiambu County. He has constructed a dairy unit with more than 52 dairy cows, a piggery unit with more than 220 pigs, and a Poultry unit with over 3,000 layers. He manufactures own animal feeds and the farm has a modern milking parlour, cooler and milk processing machine for value addition. Economic impact: Employment creation-he has employed 18 permanent employees and over 60 casuals
