Our Contact
Agricultural Finance Corporation (AFC) is a government owned non-bank development financial institution.

At inception in 1963, AFC was incorporated to take over the credit functions of the pre-independence European and African Agricultural Boards. The main function during those early years was to assist in the transfer of land from European Colonial settlers to indigenous Kenyan farmers.

From 1969 AFC was reconstituted to assume the wider mandate of taking over the functions of the Land and Agricultural Bank of Kenya.
